1. JOHN & JULIA McINTYRE - January 8, 2010: ATTENTION: ST. PETER & ST. PAUL’S CHURCH, CATTISTOCK.

I have been trying to contact this Church by email without success (I live in the United States) in order to make contact with someone who might be able to help me.
 I am writing the biography of the artist Robert Anning Bell (1863-1933) who I believe designed stained glass window/s for your Church some time in the early twentieth century.

I was wondering if you could tell me if there are photographs of the window/s, for me to describe, in the catalogue of the book which is due for publication later this year. I am also looking for the name of the glass workshop which manufactured the window, and any information pertaining to the commission which you may have available in your Church records.

Anything you can tell me will be fully acknowledged in the credits of the book.

Rupert Cake who setup and maintains the Cattistock village website http://www.cattistock.info is a keen photographer and has an archive of historical photos for Cattistock and surrounding areas. Thank you for getting in touch.

The service timetable for the churches within the Melbury Team can be found by clicking on the ‘Team Churches’ menu tab and then selecting ‘Service Timetable’ from the submenu on the right hand side. I have now also created a link to this page on the Home page. The service timetable is updated every month.
