Melbury Team Awayday
You may remember that we had to cancel the day (Team Weekend) with the Archdeacon in May because of his illness. He is now recovered, and we have rearranged the day for Saturday 29th October. This will be a very important day for the future of the Melbury Team, and I encourage you to put it into your diaries now. If you are a church officer or PCC member, it is especially important that you are there to hear about the pilot project in which we are being invited to participate.
It will be a day of learning, discussion, fun and worship, and there will be no charge. Graham Perryman will provide further information will be available in September.
Holy Land Pilgrimage
A very advance notice… in May 2013 Graham Perryman is hoping to lead a Pilgrimage to the Holy Land, with David Wright, through McCabe tours. We hope you may consider joining us on this potentially life-changing journey to the land of our Lord, as we trace his footsteps in the land where he walked.
McCabe are the market leaders and very experienced and professional in all they do. The inclusive cost for the Pilgrimage is about £1,600. Please ask Jackie or Graham Perryman for a copy of the brochure if you re at all interested. We have given plenty of notice for this so that you may be able to save up over the coming months.
